Those two words in the title above encapsulate our thoughts about the past year, which was both challenging and successful for us. The slightly lower production levels of our customers reduced the volumes of our contract deliveries to some extent. We still achieved growth and our turnover was record-breaking, reaching over EUR 16 million for the first time. This would not have been possible without new openings and market shares with both our existing and new customers – whom we would like to warmly thank for the excellent cooperation in 2023!

In the very Finnish way, we care a lot about what others think of us. Therefore, we conduct a customer satisfaction survey twice a year. We received a record number of responses to the most recent survey conducted in December. The surveys allow us to develop our operations and through that increase customer satisfaction even further. Therefore, we want to give a big thank you to everyone who responded!

We are also grateful for our response-related observation that our customers are generally very satisfied with our operations. One example of this is our net NPS of 64. Our customers were most satisfied with the following topics: “on-time deliveries”, “willingness to cooperate with Bet-Ker for a long time” and “experience that Bet-Ker is a reliable supplier and keeps its promises”. In addition, they reported reliable products, fast and reliable deliveries, and local technical support as the most important features of the supplier.

So our first impression of the responses is very positive, and we are also happy to say that our customers’ requirements and our own vision seem to be very similar. We want to offer the smoothest Nordic cooperation in refractory materials, including reliable and safe products, the fastest deliveries in the Nordic countries, and local technical support. The latter also enables the market’s smoothest problem-solving ability, as well as process and material development. We will carefully analyse all the responses so we can be an even smoother refractory cooperation partner in 2024!

Traditionally, our customer satisfaction survey also includes a small carrot🥕, which in reality is not small – and even less a carrot😉. We always draw a prize of 10 kg of mixed candy among the respondents🍬🍬🍬, and this time the prize was won by Risto Keinänen from Outokumpu. Congratulations to Risto – enjoy the prize!
