Bet-Ker Oy offers reliable and state-of-art refractory solutions for different stages of metal production. We are specialised in monolithic refractory materials and our product portfolio includes a broad selection of different refractory mixes and components. If the process also requires brick solutions, we can offer a comprehensive solution including bricks and mixes in cooperation with our partners. Thanks to our experience and competent experts, we can design, for our customers, a refractory solution for a high-temperature process.
Processes
Blast Furnace
We offer different monolithic refractory solutions for blast furnace processes. We engineer the products based on our customers’ process conditions and requirements.
Electric Arc Furnaces
Our product portfolio includes several refractory products for electric arc furnaces. We offer products based on both virgin and recycled materials. We manufacture, for example, ready Delta elements and spray mixes for electric arc furnaces.
Converters
Converting iron to steel requires refractory materials and our experts can help you find monolithic solutions from among our product selection, for example, a filling mix for a brickwork background or a spray mix for repairing the lining and for making deskulling easier.
Ladles
Bet-Ker Oy has a long experience in the manufacture of monolithic ladle lining. We manufacture different bottom and wall elements as well as mixes for wear linings of different ladles, for back lining repairs and for brickwork backgrounds. Our product portfolio also covers spray mixes.
Tundishes
We are experts in refractory materials for a tundish process and can offer a variety of tundish back linings and furniture. You can find a very wide selection of different tundish wear linings in our portfolio. We offer gunning, cold installation and hot installation of wear linings and tailor our solutions according to your steel quality requirements. This enables the production of the cleanest steels.
Heat treatment Furnaces
For heat treatment furnaces, we manufacture different element and mix solutions that are resistant to temperature changes and have adequate strength. We take into account the customer’s refractory material installation process and can offer vibrated, self-flowing or pumped mixes.
Element solutions
We manufacture refractory element solutions where the pieces can weigh from a few kilograms up to even 10 tonnes. We offer solutions for most process stages of metal production and can engineer the solutions ourselves as well as deliver the products directly according to each customer’s needs. In our own castable production, we can utilise several different material options and strengthen the element constructions with refractory steel filaments. Recycled materials can also be well utilized in our elements.
