Here at Bet-Ker, we take our personnel’s well-being at work seriously. We have received tangible proof of our efforts in the form of Great Place to Work Certification, something our entire work community can be proud of.

One of the recent requests from our personnel was for an opportunity to learn more about the use of our products in the steelmaking process in order to improve both well-being at work and professional competence. To achieve this, we set out on a client visit, choosing as our destination one of our key clients. The practical arrangements required close cooperation with our client, which fortunately is an integral part of our technical support engineers’ work.

Several visits were made in small groups, which made possible open conversation and illustrative factory tours, and during which we had the opportunity to witness the installation, commissioning, and use of our products. Our chief points of interest were the steelmaking area at the steel mill and the brickshop, where the vessels which use our refractory materials are prepared.

Our personnel felt the visits were a positive experience, and that they helped everyone understand the value and importance of their daily tasks. This kind of training also provides added value for our clients, as appreciation for the importance of high-quality refractory materials increases throughout our organisation.
